The most important skill you can learn is “how to breathe”.
Yes, you may be saying “of course I know how to breathe!!”
While that may be true because we all breathe unconsciously every day, what I’m referring to, is truly learning how to breathe.
When you get angry, what changes? Your breath
When you’re stressed, what changes? Your breath
When you’re excited, what changes? Your breath
Every emotion is experienced with the change of our breath.
Think about it this way, the only thing that stays with you from the moment you’re born until the moment you pass, is your breath.
When you learn to manage your breath you can navigate any situation in life.
